History
The business that is now Seeds of Gippsland was established by Jenny Wolswinkel in 2008 as Stellaria Native Vegetation Service, as a provider of a broad range of environmental services, supported by specialist seed supply.
Thanks to the support of a number of nursery owners and agencies, the business has developed to become a leading seed supplier in the Gippsland area; hence the recent name change in 2012.

Partnerships
For the past year, we have been collaborating with Rob and Veronica Logan of Perry Bridge. Rob and Veronica are the principal seed collectors for the region between Traralgon and Bairnsdale, suppling wholesale seed. Linking between the Logans and Seeds of Gippsland means that now seed from a much larger area than previous, is available for purchase in small, nursery-sized quantities.
What's the Latest?
The 2014-2015 season has seen a focus on seed collection in the Latrobe Valley region. A demand for Gippsland Red Gums (Eucalyptus tereticornis) has highlighted the importance of forward planning. For the first time in a few years, the red gums have flowered profusely, and the resultant crop of seed capsules is currently ripening.
